Vintage 2000

The vintage 2000 of Château VERDUS will be bottled between the 15th and the 31st of march, so available for sale at the end of the month.
As we already sold the 2/3 of the 2000 ( by Primeurs ) let us advise the amateur to book his wine rapidly.

Record sales. The customers have booked twice more bottles compare to 1998 and 1999.

Château VERDUS 2000 changes its label
|
|
|
|
For the vintage 2000, Château Verdus has created a new label reminding the oldness of the château and its old wine vocation, a back label shows some details about the history and the vineyard.

VINTAGE 2001
|
|
|
The Primeurs sale will start in the beginning of march, you can book until the 31st of may for the first period. Second period ( till August ) and third one (till November ) will offer the Primeur at an attractive price anyway.
A new wine Château REAL
It is located next to château Verdus, its wine is made in the cellar of Château Verdus, and we sell now the vintages : 99 and 2000. Its bouquet remind Verdus' bouquet.

OPEN DOORS 2002

"Spring of the Médoc Chateaux"
It happens on the 6 and 7 April 2002. Château VERDUS will be opened and the night will be animated by music and illuminations. During this week-end you will taste several vintages and the 2001. You will have also the opportunity to discover its new label for 2000.

EXHIBITIONS 2002

In 2002, Château VERDUS will participate in several exhibitions.
During the spring,
* 12 February in Paris, Meeting with professionals from Ireland, Denmark, and Finland.
* 25 February in Paris, Professional exhibition organized by the National Confederation of the Particular Cellars.
* between the 12 and the 15 April, in Paris Champerret, open to all public, you can book your invitation by mail.

MUSEUM

|
Every year 8000 visitors come to our museum dealing with the ancient Médoc, it has become famous in Médoc.
We are at 60 km far from Bordeaux, that means 1h far from the airport, at 12km far from Pauillac, and 2km far from St-Estèphe.
Our site offers a beautiful panorama over the estuary of Gironde and the vineyard of St Estèphe.
The visit lasts 1h30, at the end we taste several vintages. The price is 3€ for an adult, the children who are not 15 years old don't pay for the tour.
For group over 20 persons ( tour operators, tourism office…) we have special prices.
We can advise you other interesting sites around the site, such as abbey, crus classés, archaeological places, marshland, please contact us.
The catering offers a wide range of restaurants for all budget.
